Earlier this school year prior to district closures, Superintendent HD Chambers sat down in the studio to discuss workforce readiness with Vivian Vo (Elsik High School Auto Tech Program student), Will Diaz (Alief ISD Auto Tech Program graduate and owner of Engineuity Autowerks) and Julian Mendoza (Alief ISD Auto Tech Program graduate and current Hastings High School Automotive Technology teacher). They dive into the changing Auto Tech industry, the different rewarding job opportunities in the job sector and the importance of the Auto Tech Program in preparing students for the evolving workforce.
